Your data, explained clearly.

1. Information we process

• Anonymous account information: a Supabase-generated anonymous user identifier and session credentials. No mandatory name, email, or social-media login is required for the current anonymous flow.
• Search and target information: usernames or other targets you submit, normalized target values, platform selection, and profile snapshots returned by configured providers.
• Public profile data: where available, avatar, display name, username, biography, follower/following/content counts, verified/private status, and public media thumbnails.
• Analysis records: active target, analysis job status, generated result payload, history metadata, timestamps, and idempotency identifiers.
• App and technical data: language, app environment, simulation preferences, request identifiers, IP-derived security information, device/OS diagnostics, and limited server logs.
• Purchase information: if paid features become available, product, entitlement, transaction, and restore status supplied by Google Play, Apple, or RevenueCat. We do not receive full payment-card details.

2. Why we use information

• Provide anonymous access, profile resolution, analysis progress, results, history, and settings.
• Prevent duplicate work, abuse, fraud, and excessive provider requests through caching, rate controls, and request deduplication.
• Maintain service reliability, diagnose errors, and secure accounts and infrastructure.
• Process purchases and restore entitlements when store integrations are enabled.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to support or deletion requests.

3. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by infrastructure and service providers required to operate Socialens, including Supabase (authentication and database), Railway (backend hosting), public-profile data providers, and, when activated, Google Play, Apple, RevenueCat, error monitoring, and AI-processing providers. Providers receive only the information reasonably required for their role and operate under their own terms.

Submitted usernames may be sent to a configured profile provider. Analysis inputs may be sent to an AI provider only when that production feature is enabled. Backend secrets and raw provider credentials are never intentionally exposed to the mobile client.

4. Retention and security

We retain data only as long as reasonably needed for the service, security, support, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Public profile snapshots may be cached to reduce repeated upstream requests. Deleted or expired data may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until normal rotation completes.

We use access controls, row-level security, transport encryption, request identifiers, and server-side secret boundaries. No system can guarantee absolute security.

5. Your choices and rights

You may stop using the app, change supported local settings, and request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Follow the instructions on the Data Deletion page. We may request limited information to locate an anonymous account, but we will never ask for a social-media password.

6. Children, transfers, and changes

Socialens is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. Services may process data in countries other than yours with appropriate safeguards. We may update this policy as the product or law changes; the effective date will be updated.
